Prof Valentinas Snitka gave a training talk on "Surface Chemistry Mapping With Tip-Enhanced Raman Microscopy" at NSQI Bristol on 21st September, 2011 to the audience of academics, researchers and PhD students.
Prof Valentinas Snitka and Drs Ingrida Bruzaite and Arturas Ulcinas visited NSQI Bristol on 19-23 September for training, experience exchange and discussions concerning the future expansion of collaboration between the project partners.
Dr Arturas Ulcinas visited CNM-IMB Barcelona on 11-13 July, 2011, for training in preparation of photolithography masks applying it to design of mask layouts for micromachining of custom shear force Si sensors. Progress of the project and future meetings and actions were also discussed.
Drs Denys Naumenko and Arturas Ulcinas visited NSQI Bristol on 30 May-3 June, 2011, for training in video-rate atomic force microscopy applying it for tracking the processes occuring on the surfaces of gas-sensitive layers.
